Indiana Bones and the Temple of Poon

Occassionally, we do manage to get off the internet-boxes and rejoin society - usually these endeavors are led by Tooley and end up going... differently... than expected. Last night, however, Rachel rounded us up (minus Paul - stupid east coast) for trivia night at the Blue Spark in downtown Spokane. I am pleased to report that our knowledge of relatively useless topics and 2007 celebrity news earned us second place (and 20 bucks, which was promptly used for Jack In The Box "food") - and that only minor texting to someone outside the bar with access to Wikipedia was required. Basically, everyone in Spokane should consider coming down to the Blue Spark on Tuesdays to take us on... I mean, not that you'll win or anything 'cuz we're that good, but it's worth a shot.

Also, how did Indiana Bones and the Temple of Poon NOT win best team name? I thought we had that one in the bag... Touch Me Where I Pee was vulgar, but clearly lacked the cleverness that our team name contained. And I wanted that pitcher of beer, too...

  1. Clearly the team pulled out a moral victory seeing as they were playing without one member.

  2. Well, we substituted Matt for you so as to have a full team. Which was a good call in the end, because we won an XL men's polo shirt, which only Matt had any prayer of fitting into. :) This just means you have to come back to play with us!
