Hi everyone -- I need a computer. Please make suggestions. As of right now, I don't believe I can get a Mac because it's not compatible with my work bizniz. My only requirement is that it must be a laptop. I'd also prefer to look cute while using it, but that's not totally essential. And I trust you folks to know about computer stuff, so...

Just so you know, Mac can boot up as a windows computer- its called boot camp. I run windows on my macbook pro when I need and it is super easy. And I love my Mac- I don't think I'd ever switch back- they are very fun to use and cute and easy. :) Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteSteve - I want to spend under $1500 for sure, but preferably under $1000. I need to be able to VPN into my work business, and do all of my stuff for grad school (not current, because I don't even need a frickin calculator for that, but the PhD program that I'm assuming I'm starting relatively soon). I'd also like to be able to play Age of Empires. Because I am a nerd.
