$199 iPhone

Apple just announced there new iPhone 3G. There's an 8 GB version for $199 and a 16 GB version for $299. $199 sounds like a pretty fair price. You get GPS and access to the app store. I would definitely consider getting one when I upgrade my phone, even though you have sign up with AT&T. I don't much care for Verizon anway.

Sidenote, does anybody else use google reader. I just discovered it and think it's pretty cool. Saves me a lot of time checking websites.

  1. I find Verizon to have better coverage than AT&T in Spokane/eastern WA in general... but that could just be me or my phone, I dunno. GPS would be handy.

Aaaaand, I love Google Reader! Another bonus is that it's much less obvious when you're checking blogs at work. Like it looks like maybe you're just checking your email.

  2. I disagree with rachel completely (partially because I feel like disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing but..)

I've never had a problem with ATT Coverage

I use an RSS reader built into flock, the web browser i use, instead of google reader.

  4. I don't have any real experience to back up my assertion, I just know AT&T has a spottier coverage map for the region in general. Or it used to, when it was Cingular and I worked for them. That's right, I went there.

  5. Oh no you didn't Rachel. I challenge you to a dual. I think someone else rachel knows has spotty coverage.

it's pretty much firefox with a bunch of networking features like integration with facebook, flickr, youtube, digg, gmail, etc.
